Macro photography at very close working distances means that the camera, lens, or photographer are often blocking enough light to obtain good shots. The Laowa ring light enables working at close distance, or even in the dark. 16 LEDs produce a good diffused light source, right where its needed.

The LED lights are powered by a Micro USB cable, which could be lugged into a portable powerbank for example (powerbank / power source not supplied). As a guide, a 5000MAhs power bank could support around 6-7 hours operation. Connecting computer or 5v charger with USB cable will give continuous operation.
